The Abbey Players will host Disco Productions' presentation of The Complete History of America (Abridged) beginning January 19th.
The play, written by Adam Long, Reed Martin, and Austin Tichenor, interprets America's past as "a breathlessly paced sequence of silly vaudeville sketches, word-association games, puns and crude parodies of movie and television genres. Nothing is sacred, and many of the facts have been skewed to suggest the paranoid ravings of a particularly loony tabloid" all in under two hours! Regular performances begin Saturday, January 19, 2007. Two Sunday Matinee performances are scheduled for January 27th and February 10, at 2pm. Tickets are $12 in advance, $14 at the door.
