Walter Brown will be offering acting classes at Cite Des Arts. He will offer a class for younger students (ages 8-12, although he will meet and "audition" younger students at the parents' request), and a class for older students (ages 13+).
The younger class will focus on building confidence in speaking and interacting with and in front of others, as well as the foundations of techniques in acting. Emphasis will be given to theatre games which promote these goals.
The older class will focus on the techniques of acting, as well as the technical aspects of a stage production (lighting, set design, make-up). Depending on the expressed interests of the group, the class may also focus in part on what is more technically "speech", such as dramatic interpretation.
Both classes will work toward productions at the end of the year.
Walter also plans to offer an adult class, the details of which will be realeased later.
