Theatre--Auditions

Abbey Players announce upcoming auditions for their Fall production of Neil Simon's first Broadway play, Come Blow Your Horn.
  
Alan, a real ladies man, and his timid kid brother, Buddy, leave the family business for a bit of the good life.   When young Buddy moves into Alan's bachelor pad, their roles become hilariously reversed and demonstrate that "the good life" is not all it's cracked up to be!
Roles needing to be filled include:
     Father - 50's-60's     
     Mother - 50's
     Older son - 30's        
     Younger son - 20's
     Nice girlfriend - 20's or 30's    
     Floozy - 20's - 40's

Auditions will consist of reading from provided scripts, no previous acting experience necessary.  Anyone interested in helping with the production in any way, on or offstage, are encouraged to attend as well.


Place: Abbey Players theatre, 200 South State Street, Abbeville LA 70510.  
Dates and times are:
     Sunday, July 25, 2pm - 4pm
     Monday, July 26, 7pm - 9pm
