Kat5 Productions, in collaboration with Cité des Arts announces a Special Presentation of It's Not What It Seems on November 3rd as a Fundraiser for NHS, a local organization that provides services for persons with mental illness that are homeless. For a suggested donation of $10.00, folks can see It's Not What It Seems on Thursday, November 3rd at 7:30pm, and all funds raised will be donated to NHS.
NHS provides Assertive Community Treatment, which is a way of delivering a full range of services to people who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness. ACT's goal is to give consumers adequate community care and to help them have a life that isn't dominated by their mental illness. NHS does serve the homeless as many of our client's are currently homeless and all proceeds will be used for food, clothes, transportation, housing and household items.
