Theatre--Performance

The hilariously funny comic duo of Shane Guilbeau and Sandra LaBorde Broussard
continue with their productions of Grosbecs and Eulalie. Shane and Sandra have been producing and starring in these two Cajun one-acts for fifteen years, performing these shows for Festival International as well as for audiences in
Lafayette, Kaplan, Abbeville and Covington, Louisiana. The interesting thing about these comedies is the fact that even though the setting is South Louisiana, the humor is universal. The audiences, no matter where performed, have all said they can identify with the characters because they have family members that are cut from the same mold.

Grosbecs, written by Stuart Stelly, is the hilarious tale of Rose and Pee-Wee Leblanc. PeeWee an avid hunter is determined to hunt the endangered bird known as "Grosbecs", while wife Rose's own mission is to get PeeWee to take her to
"Mass". Thrown into the story is PeeWees lifelong nemesis Vincent Guidry, the game warden. When these two go at each other, you can be assured that comedic chaos will ensue. The cast consist of Sandra LaBorde Broussard ,Shane Guilbeau and Dustin Reed.

Eulalie, written by Clayelle Dalfreyes, follows a young Eulalie, as she tries desperatly to find a husband. In the course pursuing her quest, Eulalie crosses paths with several possible suitors. However, to latch onto her prey, she enlist the help of Taunte Therese, a Traituse(faith healer). You can be assured that all is not well, when Eulalie gets things tangled up and confused in her quest for
love.
