Ray Blum has reconsidered his decision to produce The Taffetas and instead has written a play that is based on the type of variety show that Ed Sullivan produced in the 50's. Instead of four women singing the same type of songs, he has included men and women singing pop stuff, doo-wop (Frankie Lyman, etc) , close-part male quarted (The Four Lads, etc), C & W (Patsy Cline, Tennessee Ernie Ford and friends) movie and television stuff (Mr. Ed, Rawhide). Here is a listing of the music:
Entire Company: Jambalaya, Mickey Mouse Club March, Volare
Female Quartet: The Boy Next Door / You Made Me Love You, Hi-Lily, Hi-Lo, Rum and Coca-Cola, Old Cape Cod, Mr. Sandman, Born Too Late, Leader of the Pack
Female Trio: Three Coins in a Fountain
Female Solo: Crazy, Ebb Tide, Doggy in the Window
Male/Female Quartet: Catch a Falling Star
Male/Female Duet: Mist, Love Is a Many Splendored Thing, Tennessee Waltz

Male Solo: Mister Ed, El Paso, Ballad of Davy Crockett (male solo with backup), Ballad of Thunder Road (male solo with female backup), Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah, Sixteen Tons (male solo with male backup).
