Ken Ludwig's
Moon Over Buffalo, directed by Michael Durand, will kick off the new
IPAL season in September. The plot concerns the trials and tribulations of a repertory theater company performing Cyrano de Bergerac and Private Lives in Buffalo, New York. The non-stop hilarity involves marital infidelity, love triangles, a drunk leading man and an expected visit by a famous movie director. The play stars Vincent Barras as George, Cindy Hebert as Charlotte, Ivy Fauntleroy as Ethel, Amanda Shackelford as Roz, Nicholas Dooley as Paul, David Wattigny as Howard, David Arceneaux as Richard and Stephanie Judice as Eileen. Performances are scheduled September 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 and 19 at 7:30 p.m. and September 6, 13 and 20 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 and available at Accentrics, Paul's Flower Shop and Delaune's Pharmacy.
