Theatre--Performance (Musical Theatre)

Bat Boy: The Musical opens tonight (July 29th) and runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm through August 15th.  Performances are at Cite Des Arts at 109 Vine St. (Corner of Vine and Buchanan in Lafayette at the back of the Evangeline Apartments, around the corner from Guamas).

The role of the Bat Boy is double cast and the show is different with each Bat Boy so consider coming twice--once for each actor.

This Friday (July 30) is Pay What You Can Night.  It means just what it says--pay what you can afford; no set price.  Next Fiday (August 6) all proceeds go to Second Harvest Food Bank to help with Gulf Relief.

Reservations through the Cite Des Arts website or call Cite Des Arts at 291-1122.

Come early and eat downtown--parking starts to fill up for the restaurants by 6 PM.  There is no charge for parking after 5 pm but it's first come, first served.  There is a lot across from Dwyers.

The show does contain adult themes and material.  Parents are cautioned about bringing pre-teen aged children.
