Theatre--Auditions

Auditions for The Rocky Horror Show are Monday and Wednesday (July 28th and 30th) from 6-9PM at Cite Des Arts (109 Vine St)! The audition piece is the first two verses and chorus of the song Bat Out of Hell by Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman.

The director would like people to learn this song and be prepared to take a shot at it during their audition. IF YOU FEEL THAT THIS SONG DOES NOT SHOWCASE YOUR VOICE PROPERLY, any other upbeat rock and/or roll song is fine, in addition to Bat Out of Hell. The director wants everyone to sing Bat Out of Hell because it is closely related to the feel of the show - if you can perform this, you can perform any role in the show.

Auditions will be from 6-9 pm (individual auditions will take 10-15 minutes)at Cite Des Arts (109 Vine St. 291-1122)

Feel free to dress up. . .or down. Copies of the audition piece are available at Cite. At least 10 roles are available. Some are gender-specific. Most are not. All ages are welcome to participate. (If you are under 18, The director and production staff must meet your parents.)

If you cannot make these dates or if you have any questions, please call Blaine Peltier at 212-4471.
