Theatre--Performance

Gillian Holroyd is just the average, modern-day witch, living in a New York apartment with her familiar Pyewacket, a cat to help her do her bidding. But when a handsome publisher, Shep Henderson becomes her tenant, she decides that she wants him. So, Gillian casts a spell over Shep, something that delights Gillian's Aunt Queenie, another witch, and her brother Nicky, a warlock. Throw into the mix Sidney Redlitch, a drunken author researching a book on witchcraft, and there's a comedy of untold proportions.

Ray Blum directs this Firelight Performing Arts production in Youngsville (501 Church Street.) It stars Sandy Landry as Gillian Holroyd, Mitch Landry as Shepherd Henderson, Laura Blum as Aunt Queenie Holroyd, John Bess as Nicky Holroyd, and Vincent P. Barras as Sheldon Redlitch. Performances will be at 7:30 pm Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturday evenings from February 25th through March 6th. For tickets, call 857-6991 or 962-0306 or visit the website.
